### About PRL

PRL is built on Solana to take advantage of high throughput, low transaction costs, and sub-second finality. Every annotation, review, and quality check in the Perle pipeline is recorded on-chain, creating an immutable, time-stamped audit trail that traces each data point back to a verified contributor.

Solana was selected for these reasons:

**1. Speed and cost:** Perle's contributor network processes millions of tasks. Solana's throughput (up to 65,000 TPS) and near-zero transaction fees make on-chain settlement practical at scale.

**2. Ecosystem alignment:** Framework Ventures, the lead investor in Perle's $9M seed round, is a major Solana ecosystem participant. Perle benefits from deep Solana-native tooling, wallet infrastructure, and DeFi liquidity.

#### **Distribution Rationale**

The largest allocation goes to Contributors and Data Rewards. This is deliberate. Perle's value proposition depends on a self-improving data flywheel: higher-quality contributions lead to better enterprise outcomes, which attract more enterprise demand, which creates more opportunities for contributors. PRL's token distribution ensures the people who power this flywheel are its primary economic beneficiaries.

During the Q4 2025 beta, the Perle network processed 1.7 million tasks and distributed 330 million reputation-weighted points across its contributor base. The PRL distribution converts this early work into permanent economic participation in the network.
